ESRC Public Policy Seminar Series
During a series of lunchtime seminars, the UK's leading social scientists will present their latest research and draw out the policy options. The seminars aim to bring the best social science concepts and evidence into the policy arena and stimulate a discussion of how in the light of these insights, policy can be developed. The goal is to encourage evidence-based policy through an exchange between researchers and policy-makers. To attend a seminar or to receive a copy of the research briefing, please contact Marzena Bien (marzena.bien@esrc.ac.uk) in the ESRC's Knowledge Transfer team on 01793 413137. Please note that the Public Policy Seminar Series is unrelated to the Research Seminars Competition. If you are looking for information and/or guidance on the latter, please visit the Research Seminars Competition home page.

In recognition of the Public Policy Seminars supported and facilitated by the ESRC, a number of publications have been produced to consolidate the research findings and policy implications. These publications are based around themes and cover a wide range of topics: from Well-being for Children and Young People to Devolution and Economic Policy in the UK. These publications are readily available and organised chronologically. We encourage you to make use of these valuable resources, so hard copies are available on request. If you would like to receive a free copy of any of the publications please email knowledgetransfer@esrc.ac.uk
