Investing in criminological research
1 March 2010, LondonThe event is intended to improve mutual understanding about ways in which criminological research can contribute to crime policy. Participants will include: - Politicians and their advisors
- Academic criminologists
- Government funders and the Government Social Research Unit
- The ESRC and British Academy
The three sponsoring bodies hope to act as honest brokers in promoting dialogue between politicians, as the end-users of much criminological research, those who commission and fund criminological research and those academic criminologists who produce policy research.
