• British Academy - the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences.
• British Council - the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. As well as education it runs programmes in the arts, science, sport, governance and English language.
• Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS) - the European Commission information service dedicated to research and development (R&D) and to promoting innovation.
