ESRC invites proposals for a Deputy Director of the UK in a Changing Europe initiative. This will complement the role of the Director, Professor Anand Menon. The Deputy Director will also have the opportunity to undertake their own programme of research and impact activity related to the UK in a Changing Europe initiative.
The Deputy Director will work closely with the Director of the UK in a Changing Europe initiative and will play a vital role in assisting with:
- planning and co-ordination of initiative activities
- liaising with researchers and other grants supported under the initiative
- working with key stakeholders
- deputising as appropriate for the Director.
This is a complex and fast-moving portfolio, and therefore it is anticipated that the appointment will possess senior-level expertise in this area. The appointment will be made at senior fellow level. The Deputy Director will also need to be based at an eligible UK research organisation.
