International conference on taxation analysis and research
This conference is jointly hosted by HM Revenue and Customs and the ESRC, and has been held in 2009 and 2011.
The event showcases HMRC and HM Treasury analytical work and research methods, raising awareness of the work done by analysts in the department and opening this work to wider discussion. It also aims to increase awareness of analysis and research carried out by other tax administrations, academics and experts.
By fostering relationships and dialogue between HMRC and HM Treasury analysts, their counterparts in other tax administrations, the academic community and research providers, we aim to facilitate a productive exchange of ideas, approaches and expertise.
