Title Challenges for anti-homophobia policies

Description Recent years have seen a quiet revolution in UK policies and legislation concerning LGBT equalities. This has taken place in the context of a broader cultural and political shift towards equality, particularly for lesbians and gay men who are seen to be ‘good citizens’. This talk explores the barriers that remain, focusing on the UK local government situation. It uses findings from a large study, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council UK.
