The ESRC Project Internationalising Institutional and Professional Practices hosted a conference entitled 'Ethical and Methodological Issues in Research and Disaster Interventions that Cross Borders' at the Lindisfarne Centre, St Aidan's College, Durham on 19 March 2010. The presenters included scholars from India and China as well as practitioners from local emergency teams.
