Fuse - the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health is one of five Centres funded as part of the UKCRC Public Health Research: Centres of Excellence.

Fuse brings together the universities of Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside to support the transformation of health across the North East; researching and applying knowledge in policy and practice in the areas of health development, obesity, chronic disease and associated risk factors.
