Boost to dementia research announced

Today the ESRC, along with the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), has announced funding worth £20 million to boost our understanding of dementia.

Dementia is an increasingly important health issue as the world's population grows older, a fact recognised by the dedicated G8 Dementia Summit (DH website) taking place this week.
