ESRC British Election Study
The ESRC will be inviting applications in the Spring 2012 for a new British Election Study.
The British Election Study (BES) is a long running, high profile survey, describing and explaining the political attitudes and voting behaviours of UK citizens. Funding for the current study ends in late 2012 and it is envisaged that the new British Election Study will start no later than Autumn 2013, perhaps earlier to cover the possibility of a snap election being called.
Further details will be released in due course. The ESRC’s normal eligibility rules will apply with proposals being made through the Research Councils’ Joint Electronic Submission System (Je-S).
