Social science research plays a vital role in our society. From big ideas to the most detailed observations, social science affects us all every day - at work, in school or college, within our communities, when exploring our identities and expressing our beliefs.
The Focus on Society competition was an opportunity for 14-18 year olds to be creative by using photography to explore the relevance of social science to their life.
In the academic year 2015/16 the standard of entries was exceptionally high and provided the judges with the challenging task of selecting the winners. We would like to thank all those that participated for taking the time to enter.
A video of the winning entries is available on our YouTube channel.
Our next photographic competition will be in the 2017/18 academic year.
