ESRC supports academic user support for the three UK Census Longitudinal Studies (LSs) through three regional Research Support Units (RSUs) and a central Hub to co-ordinate, harmonise and promote the work of the three LS Research Support Units, with the aim of providing a more streamlined experience for users.

CeLSIUS (the Centre for Longitudinal Study Information and User Support)
Led by Dr Nicola Sheltom and hosted by University College London, this research team provides user support to the ONS Longitudinal Study.

SLS-DSU (Scottish Longitudinal Study Development and Support Unit)
Led by Professor Chris Dibben and based within the National Records of Scotland as well as the Universities of Edinburgh and St Andrews, this Unit assists with the development of the Scottish Longitudinal Study as well as supporting access to it.

NILS-RSU (Northern Ireland Longitudinal Study Research Support Unit)
The NILS-RSU supports researchers using the NILS. It is led by Dr Ian Shuttleworth at Queen’s University Belfast and is based within the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA), Belfast. Data access is provided in the safe setting at the Unit.

Census and Administrative data Longitudinal Studies Hub (CALLS-Hub)
Led by Professor Allan Findlay at the University of St Andrews, the Hub aims to co-ordinate, harmonise and promote the work of the three LS Research Support Units, with the aim of providing a more streamlined experience for users.
